I'm Ricky Hembree, an Air Force veteran, and LoneStar Print3d is me. I design the covers, print them, inspect every one, box them, and answer the email when you write in. There's nobody else here. That's on purpose — nothing leaves this shop that I haven't personally held in my hand.
How this started
I bought the printer for myself. Hobby prints, odds and ends around the house, no business plan behind it whatsoever.
Then I made a few hitch covers for friends and family, and I liked the way they turned out. Liked them enough to do something about it.
So LoneStar Print3d is new, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But I'm building it to last, and I plan to grow it — more designs, more products, as the demand shows up. If there's something you'd like to see me make, that's useful information. Tell me.
Built for the Texas sun
Every cover is printed in ASA. That's a deliberate choice, and a more expensive one.
A lot of 3D printed parts sold online are PLA. It prints easy and looks sharp on day one — then it goes soft in a hot parking lot and chalks out in the sun by the second summer. ASA is the material the industry uses for outdoor automotive trim: UV stable, heat tolerant, built to live outside.
Your hitch cover is going to spend its entire life bolted to the back of a truck in Texas. It ought to be made out of something that can take that.
All covers fit a standard 2-inch receiver.
Made one at a time
Nothing here is mass produced, and nothing sits in a warehouse in another state waiting on a barcode. Covers are printed to order right here in Rockwall, and orders ship in 2–4 business days.

Custom work is the part I enjoy most.
A ranch brand. A business logo. A family name. Unit insignia. Something you sketched on the back of a receipt. If you can describe it, there's a good chance I can print it — and you won't be talking to a support queue, you'll be talking to the guy running the printer.
One thing I'll be straight about up front: I don't reproduce copyrighted or trademarked work without permission. No team logos, no brand marks, no licensed characters — not unless the rights holder has signed off on it. That isn't me being difficult. It's me keeping both of us out of trouble, and it's how I intend to run this business for the long haul.
